After growing up on the Oregon coast I moved to Colorado Springs to attend school at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. It was there that I found my passion for economics and finance and began a career in the banking world. I started as a teller and naturally progressed to a personal banker and ultimately landed in the mortgage world. 

My mortgage career started off as a processor, which gave me time to fully understand what makes and breaks a loan. Working directly with underwriters on a daily basis, I learned the ins and outs of how to avoid issues before they ever start and how to get creative to help people buy their homes. After a couple of years in that role I decided my skills would be better suited as a loan officer so I could help home buyers avoid the issues they were facing from the current loan officers that had no background of what happens during the process of a loan. Once I ended up on the sales side I knew I was in the right role. My clients were happy and grateful for smooth and stress free experiences. 

Now, I focus my energy on creating a loan process that empowers my clients with knowledge, education and a team they can trust to make sure there are no surprises. I believe my clients should have the freedom to focus on preparing to move instead of being concerned if there are going to be problems with their financing. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 dogs in the mountains hiking, fishing, or just relaxing. On weekends you can either find us there or out on the disc golf course competing or supporting our community.
